And this is only the second book of hers that I’ve read! But I’m positive that any of her books will move me, because, oh boy, did Somebody to Love move me, just like 
 <a href="http://www.gonewiththewords.com/2012/02/review-until-there-was-you-by-kristan-higgins.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Until There Was You</a>
. What was really interesting and different in Somebody to Love was that the guy was the one who yearned and pined over the girl. James fell in love with Parker the moment he first set eyes on her. In her he saw the capacity for love that was not shown to him in his life. The only problem being that she instantly disliked him for being her father’s lackey. So he definitely had his work cut out for him if he was to win her heart. I honestly fell in love with James. I wanted to squeeze him and...well, do other things to him too, but the point is that he needed some genuine love and affection. He’s been beating himself up his whole life for what happened when he was a kid and I must admit I shed my share of tears for him toward the end of this book. I just wanted him to be happy!! All of his scenes with Nicky, Parker’s son, tugged at my heart strings! Most of them caused me to shed some of those tears I mentioned. And if James loves Parker, then Parker has to be a good person, right? Because he’s an amazing person. Well, she was, and I wasn’t expecting it. I thought she’d be spoiled and snotty, which she could pretend to be when need be, but she was kind and caring and funny. There are characters in this story that are from previous books, and I kind of wish I would have read them before reading this one, but oh well. I definitely plan to read

, which is the book where we first meet Parker, because I need to find out how Parker ended up having a son with Ethan, considering he’s married to her best friend now. And I also plan to read 
 <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12420504-catch-of-the-day" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Catch of the Day</a>
 and see Maggie and Malone’s story. If you have yet to read Kristan Higgins books, don’t make the same mistake I made and wait forever to get to them. Her books will make you cry, swoon, laugh and will always leave you smiling. My heart was very happy upon finishing Somebody to Love.
