Overall Opinion:
From what little I did read, this series was not what I was expecting seeing how I love the initial blurb. The dialogue was everywhere and the friendship between Rachel and Cassy was a hot mess. I could barely turn the page without cringing. Sadly this just wasn't for me.

I Ended up giving this book 3/ 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ .

While the I didn't mind the general plot, I just couldn't connect to the characters. I can't tell if I just didn't care about them or if it's just the way they were written. It was a really fast read and it was very easy to finish. I just wasn't invested in any way. I didn't care what happened in the end. My major complaint I think is the whole pretending to be her therapist charade went on way too long. I think this was just more of a personal preference than anything else. Overall it was a quick and easy read.

I first saw this book in the Kindle Scout program and read the included sample pages... I laughed so many times I lost count, so of course I nominated it! I was so disappointed when it wasn't chosen because I just HAD to read the rest of this book. So I was through the roof excited when I got an email saying the author had published the book! I bought this book last night and decided to start reading it when I laid down for bed at 10:30pm and then proceeded to stay up until almost 2am because I couldn't put the darn thing down! This has to be the single most hilarious and engrossing romance book I have ever read!! I struggled to keep my laughter as quiet at possible so I wouldn't wake the baby but it was impossible to keep from laughing out loud! The characters felt real and I loved the twists and turns this story took to keep you absolutely enthralled from one page to the next. I want to read it again already!

What I liked about this novel was that we're following Rachel, who is a curvy woman on the shorter side. Thank you dear author for the diversity there.
Unfortunately there were a few things I didn't like about this book:
- Cassy as a character is just unbelievably awful
- the whole premise of Henry "playing" the relationship counselor and Rachel just playing along isn't believable either, she could've just asked for his certificate and the whole thing would be over.
- I also don't get why Henry is setting her up with all the guys instead of coming clean when he's clearly interested in her. I understand that this is the author's idea of a plot, but I get annoyed at situations that don't make sense.
- there are a few errors in the text as well. My favorite was: "all so" instead of also. Not sure if that is due to the ebook format.

Altogether I can only give this one 2 stars.
