took me awhile to figure out that dan humphries was her ex husband and not just a repeated reference to gossip girl

It was okay, but nothing unexpected happened. The book felt like a slog at points because I found the main character to be really unlikable. While the protagonist does exhibit some growth towards the end of the story, I had a hard time rooting for her as she was so bitter and judgemental. Some of her inner dialogue was just so mean and unnecessary. It felt like she really lacked self awareness which drives me nuts.
