This was an entertaining novel with plenty of Christmasy vibes. I did knock off a star for having to be in Catchpool's head, listening to him whine about how much he despises his mother. She is the stereotypical, overbearing mother with "good intentions," but I got tired of Catchpool kvetching about her. ;)
