This is an excellent second installment in the series that I think I might like even better than the first! It was non stop action, and fast pasted.. I read it in just a few hours. All of the characters are strong, and I love each and everyone of them. They have been through so much and still want to help Calendonia fight against Aric. 
The ending was amazing, and I can't wait to get my hands on the third book to see how it all ends!!

One word: Wow!

This book was an amazing read. It has been sitting on my shelf for awhile now and then two days ago I decided it was time that I cracked open this book, and once I did, I could not put it down! It was beautifully written and I don't know what I am going to do with myself until the last book comes out next year!

When reading this book, you just fall even more in love with the characters and become even more immersed in this world where you feel like you fighting and surviving with these amazing characters. While reading through this book, it gives you a new perspective on family and how you don't have share blood in order to be family. A family is about loyalty and being there for one another and I found myself wanting to be there with these badass pirates and fighting along side them. In the first book I knew the Caledonia cared for her crew, but in this second installment, you really see how much she cares for her sisters. 

I can't wait to see what happens next with this amazing crew, but one thing I know for sure is that whatever they face against, they will do it together, as a family. If you haven't read the first book, you have too! It will be the best choice of your reading life and you won't regret it. Plus, who doesn't love some amazing, hard-core pirates? I know I do!

This was even better than Seafire! The action is relentless and the pacing is fantastic. I had some feelings about how this might end and was totally on point. I’m ready for the next one!
