I've read most of Susane Colasanti's books and this one was by far my favorite. I really loved the voice of the story even though I found the main character Brooke to be incredibly annoying. I was glad to be annoyed because it really felt true to life since no one knows it all quite like a teenager on the cusp of adulthood! I also love a story that makes the setting another character in the book, and NYC definitely played a huge role in this story and made me want to visit it even more!

I enjoyed reading this book, but it was incredibly predictable. Like, there’s nooooo way the plot would have been so simple as to have Brooke stay with Scott all 240 pages. So there obviously had to be some sort of “plot twist” but it was really predictable. I like how all of Colasantis books are so different, and all the plots are very diverse and the characters have different personalities, but this book was just a tad obvious, not that it wasn’t entertaining, but I think you get my point here.

I love Colasanti's writing! I really liked this book like all her other books but I feel like the ending wasn't quite satisfying, I wish the story would have continued for a few more chapters. Overall though I did enjoy the book and liked all of the characters!
