I really wanted to liked this book. Unfortunately it was too much sex scenes and so little plot. I felt that there was no character development. Dylan seem very sweet and blunt which I appreciate in characters. However, I felt all she did was daydream about banging Reese which in some context can be sexy. It almost felt like a waste opportunity having such a strong female character and not explore other aspects of her life. Overall the book was ok, I guess I was not the target audience for it.

This book was very entertaining. Very raunchy and definitely not PG but amazing. I was attracted to the complexity and maturity of the language, J Daniels has a lot of talent. Great book

I absolutely loved this book! I love how feisty and fierce Dylan is, and how incredibly sweet and romantic Reese is. Joey is fantastic and Brooke is interesting.
Such a great group, and a great story!

This book was my least favourite thing in the entire world. Okay... that's a lie. I still have Ace and Lilah and so many below this book. 

However, this is very high on the most crappiest Wattpad books I've read. 
Dylan, the main character was the most unlikeable female I've read about, she's a slut shamer, a hypocrite and most importantly, a moaner. 

The author wrote every two seconds that she moaned. Like I kid you not, she would moan when she ate, moan when she talked and moan when she had sex. 
Like jeez Dylan, control you shit. Because of this story the word 'moan' infuriates me to such an intensity. 

Let's not forget she can't stop slapping Reese? She has this obsession with slapping him across the face every two seconds when he does something wrong. Like woman... I'm aggressive but you don't see me abusing people publicly do you 🥱

Moving on to Reese, this guy was no one's ideal person. And if he was, I'm sorry, you have really shitty taste. Everyone deserves better than Reese. Because he talks shit about you and then claims the opposite. He's this disgustingly possessive and hypocritical asshole who deserves Dylan because they're both lame. 

I don't think I could control MY aggression if I had to read the second book. So I'm choosing to stop reading after this book. I would 100000000000000% not recommend this book to literally anyone and everyone. 

Now moving on to the side characters. Joey is the most infuriating character I've read about. I wanted to really like him, because hello? He's the lgbtqia+ rep I needed and he failed miserably at being likeable. Half the time he was on Reese's side when he actually needed to be on Dylan's. And when Dylan would slut shame Reese after he gave her an estimate of his body count,  Joey would support her??? Like jeez, that's not the support you should be giving her. 

And then towards the ending or mid of the book, Brooke is introduced. She's the sister of Jules (best friend of Dylan). She's an actual predator. And harrasses Joey... And when Joey says he feels like he's being molested by her, do you want to know what Dylan says? She firstly, chokes on her glass of water and then laughs it off saying she needed to hear that. 

I'm out, this book was actual crap. I pity everyone who loved this. But these are a few of my thoughts on the book.

I wanted to punch Dylan more times than necessary. Girl was seriously delusional with a fucking D! (Or was it cause she was fucking the D?) I face palmed so damn much at her dumb antics. And another thing was that everything was so perfectly aligned like wtf?? Three best friends dating three best friends? Mmm.. Seems mighty suspect to me. I dunno this book wasn't great in the least. At most it was a little above mediocre and hovering on okay.

This book was amazing. I went into this not knowing anything and thought it would be boring ; however was I ever wrong. I’m truly captivated by their romance and the chemistry they shared. I loved (mainly) every minute of this book.

Only reason why it’s not getting 5 stars is the ending. There was lots of unnecessary drama being created in the end which made it fall a little short. If you’re adults, just communicate! However, loved the book completely. This will for sure be a re-read.

Sweet Addiction was a cute and fun read. I found the characters to be sassy and funny. I just wish there was more of a story line to it. Instead of the back and forth with whether Dylan wanted a serious relationship or just a casual fun one. Overall it was an okay read.

I have never ever been more relieved to have received a book for free from kindle! Because If I had paid for this, I would be distraught over being out of the Amazon 14 day return period.

For all those who have not read this book and are thinking of doing so, let me give you the basic plot, mainly in picture form.

First off though:

Gay best friend - √
Horrible ex - √
Stalker insane ex of new guy - √
Massive misunderstanding due to the heroine only hearing half of a conversation - √
Heroine with an unexplained and unbelievable low self esteem, despite her actually being super hot - √

But onto the story.



































annnnnnnnd that is basically it. With the addition of the odd idiot ex mixed in there somewhere

So again, making your heroine a slap happy twat, is not making her "cute" or "fiesty" or whatever else you thought you were writing her as.



She is an abuser - just because she is female does not make it any less true. It is not funny or sexy. It is just wrong.



And how the heroine actually made any money is beyond me, other than the odd wedding cake, or cakes for herself, she did zero baking, yet seemed to have an endless supply of cakes and pastries out the back, that I assume the magical cupcake fairy made. 



I will not be reading the next book about these two, unless I read a review that the hero actually dumps the heroine due to her habit of slapping him hard across the face for every perceived slight. Not that he was much better in all honesty, sleeps with his secretary (who ofc turns out to be insane! duh! she is an ex girlfriend, she was never going to be much else) then fires her, due to I assume it being awkward to fuck your current girlfriend up against your office door, when your recent hook up/employee is sitting on the other side. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen I am sure.
