For the most part of the book, I wanted to just DNF it and forget that this even existed. But I went back to my rate for the first book and surprised me that I gave it 4 stars so I push through it. And it did get better, not a whole lot better but a tiny bit better. A bit disappointed with Sylvia but I still have the crossfire series
