The author of these memoirs witnessed the atomic bombing of his hometown and the deaths of his parents and sisters when he was eight. He emigrated to North America when he was 18, vowing to avenge his fathers death. Once in America however the author converted to Christianity, and found forgiveness, peace, and reconciliation.
