This last book was a bit of a disappointment. I thought the first three books were amazing. But this one focused on all of the wrong things for me. The cliffhanger from book 3 was so good that I thought it would be explored for most of this one. Instead everything from it was wrapped up very quickly. Then a lot of what the series was building for was concluded with things that happened off page. But instead the amount of spice in the book increased. And while I don’t mind spicy books I have issues when it conflicted with the plot of the book, especially when it was built to well but now just felt deserted. The spice was happening so often and felt so repetitive that it did bring down the rating of the book. It’s sad that this last book wasn’t what I wanted from the series. It started off just so strong but it just veered so far off track from my reading experience.

I have more questions than answers and I can't wait to start the guild trilogy 
But shout out to Tate James because, with every passing book, her writing becomes better and better. Keep it up, girl! You're fucking amazing

I have literally no words. This entire series may be one the best I’ve read in my entire life, it’s just so… wow. I loved the Madison Kate series (the one that goes before this one), but Tate James, ma’am, you outdid yourself writing Hades, you got me screaming, crying, and throwing up through the four books 😩. If you haven’t read this series, or you have it on your tbr, wHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? read it nowwww!!! (but check the tw ofc).

i've said it before and i'll say it again - this series is 10x better than the Madison Kate series imo.

the beginning of this book is dark and hard to read through but the way Tate wrote it was incredible. i loved how this series was wrapped up, it was a perfect fuck you to Chase and a happy beginning to Hades' new life. 

i see the MK series all over TikTok and Bookstagram but this series for me is the winner. i would absolutely recommend to everyone.

Wow!

This book was SO heavy, so I advise caution going in if you have any triggers as this book is loaded with them. 

That said .. Tate James completely outdid herself on this one. This was full of action, full of revenge, full of everything I expected yet somehow so much more. Fantastic ending to a fantastic series.
