This is a good, practical book if you're looking for material on public speaking. The author uses easy conversational language with a friendly (not intimidating at all!) tone. Great book to have on hand. Every point is neatly arranged and easy to navigate especially if you are looking to read just one specific topic. 
I learned a lot of things and made notes and hopefully when and if the time comes for me to stand in front of a crowd to speak, this will be my go-to source. The tips offered here are hefty, jam-packed.

I finally finished this book! Chris Anderson’s guide on public speaking is insightful and practical. I liked the way the book was structured - by each skill or component of a talk, with example TED talks to reference. There was lots of helpful advice on presentation literacy, framing your idea, and delivery. I also liked Chris’s reflection at the end of the book - our need for contextual knowledge (knowing the bigger picture), creative knowledge (exposure to a broad scope of creative thinkers ), and a deeper understanding of our humanity. Chris leaves the reader on an inspiring note: “Life on the hedonic treadmill is ultimately dissatisfying. A beautiful remedy is to hop off it and instead begin pursuing an idea that’s bigger than you are.”

Interesante y aplicable. Y es cierto que se ve en muchas de las charlas TED. Espero llegar a aplicar algo de esto académicamente. Y en la vida personal y profesional, claro. Hay un montón de cosas que son intuitivas, pero no las aplicamos, y nos encasillamos en cosas que no funcionan, es iluminador. Ademas hay cosas que no se hacen y son fundamentales. La verdad es un material muy útil, al que vale la pena darle un repaso cada tanto ademas.
