This is a hilarious, tongue-in-cheek early reader book by Van Lieshout about an unnamed boy who receives an unexpected inheritance from his uncle that sends him off on a brief adventure as a magician without an operating manual. The witty dialog between Dad and the boy is full of cheek and hyperbole that works on the kid level and the adult level.
