I eye-read this a few years ago, and when I saw it on Scribd in audio, I thought I'd listen to it. It's lovely, and a lot darker than I remembered. 

It's a Pied Piper kind of story, with talking rats and a talking cat and stuff.

It's Pratchett. It's good.

I needed this. I have been reading such banal books lately, and Pratchett dragged me out of my rut!

This is supposed to be more for children, but it seems more dark and like the traditional fairy tales than something you would read a child today. It was utterly enjoyable, with the same feel as all of the other Discworld novels I have read. I was pleasantly surprised at how profound the message of rats and cats talking seemed after some of the drivel I've read recently.
