I wasn't as thrilled by this book as I was by Where Rainbows Meet. The concept itself, that memories and feelings can be transmitted via a blood transfusion, is a bit far fetched for me. Yes I know that some of my favourite books are fantasy/sci-fi based, but the concept seemed contrived to me. I had the same feeling when Justin, the handsome male blood donor, is completely unable to make the connection that Joyce, blood donor recipient and leading lady, is the 'thank you note' culprit. Seriously? Maybe I'm just delusional though... half the point of chick-lit is that it's unrealistic. But I think Ahern was able to achieve that realism in Where Rainbows Meet, more so than this novel.

Not one of my favourites. Very creative idea, but I think the way Cecelia wrote it wasn't really as good as her other books. There are some parts I would have really liked to have had a bit more emotion in them. But I liked the ending. Any girl would.

Había leído malas criticas sobre el final. Tonto, no? Me había puesto mal, pensé que no iba a gustarme. Pero la verdad es que me sacó una sonrisita cuando lo leí. Me lo regaló mi mamá de sus vacaciones, y empecé a leerlo. Si bien nada es igual a Love, Rosie, este libro te deja un lindo gusto. Joyce es un personaje muy bonito, Justin es un personaje extraño, porque es MUY hombre, MUY humano, es egoísta, a veces se olvida de todos a su alrededor y comete MILES de errores y eso lo hace tan humano que duele. Obviamente, el padre de Joyce se gana el libro y es un amor de hombre. En serio, me hacia reír todo el tiempo.

Nuevamente Cecelia nos regala una historia normal (no tanto en este caso); contada y pincelada de una manera hermosa que la verdad da amor y cariño. Me ha gustado leerlo, sinceramente.

More of a 2 1/2 star book that I rounded up. Light read that you have to suspend reality and be ok with it being predictable. But not a horrible book either.
