My favorite parts of this book was learning more details about specific deep sea creatures like the Yeti crab or the snail fish, and was particular saddened by the deep sea mining section which closed the book. Overall informative, at times enjoyable, and closes on a sad (ish) note! If you love learning about deep sea ecosystems this is a good book for that, as well what imperials the deep now and into the future.
