For once, I would like to see a teenage girl describe as "Bright and full of life" without having to associate the girl as someone who loves to party, dates different boys, do illegal things, gets drunk way too many times, and always trying to get things her way all the time. Just... no. I don't like Lottie, I don't like Ryn, I don't like Xander, and I don't like the characters' dynamics. I know everyone has flaws, but man, does this book got me gritting my teeth non-stop. And I didn't even stop myself from rolling me eyes when Ryn said "I don't wanna be fixed" yeah okay whatever.

Lottie is just a bad friend, and Ryn is just the case of "I'm nothing without my problematic best friend"

I can’t believe how much I enjoyed this. Usually books about loss and grief are less enjoyable to me and harder to read however I’ve had this forever and decided to try it and I’m very glad I did! The characters were fun and relatable the plot was interesting and I think the author handled grief very realistically. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy books that take place over the course of one night and especially when they are "trapped" somewhere. I grew to enjoy the main character. Being in this character head took some getting used to but she grew on me. I thought how both grief and depression was handle in this book was super well done. It made me not only feel for the character but also go through my own emotions seeing the various timelines in this book. This book also had various mysteries that kept me engaged and fun cast of characters that I loved meeting in the pages. It was def. a more emotional read but def worth it especially if you are dealing with cold and snowy weather. If you like Katie Mcgary books, this book would be right up your alley!

I didnt expect this book to make me feel so emotional. 
This book was honestly brilliant. There was so many parts that made me laugh and I even got a lump in my throat at points
Its written really well I read this in three days. I loved the characters
Ryn is stranded at the airport that locked down due to a snowstorm. She struggling with loosing her friend almost year ago not excacly a year yet. Its new years eve the next day a year ago lottie her friend dies. Ryn has one unread message on her phone that she ends up accidently switching with a guy she bumps into. The story goes from there. So much happens. This is a story that talks about grief and dealing with it and it was done so well
I had no clue what to expect from this book but wow its so good

Overall I liked this book. I enjoyed and really connected with the main character. I honestly don't even have much to say. It was a decent contemporary, that brought a little emotion but wasn't life changing.

I loved this story. It takes place in airport on New Year's Eve as a girl is racing the clock to get home. As with all plans, everything that could wrong seems to wrong for her once all the flights are grounded because of the weather. She meets a guy, joins a party, and finally begins to her true journey.

Grief during the Holidays is particularly hard to deal with and I loved how the author approached this delicate subject. While still managing to make this book super fun and binge worthy!!
