It had some good nuggets of information but, overall, was repetitive. I appreciate the brevity, but any support for the central themes of the book were so vague that it offered little practical help.

I really, really appreciate a short book. But The Dip was just reasonable. I didn't feel like Godin provided either scientific or anecdotal insight that helped me to actually know when to quit or not. It seemed more like a book that was focused on simply convincing you THAT you shouldn't always quit or always press forward rather than teaching you WHEN to do so. At the end of it I was left wanting more. Short books are awesome, but not at the cost of teaching the lesson that the book's cover claims to teach.
