I love a prologue that sets up the sort of tone you can expect from the story you are about to read and this one was no different. It hooked me in right away and I eagerly continued in to see what the story would hold.
You come to learn early on that people in power have dealing gs with our bad guys for the story and there is layer upon layer of things to uncover and discover as you read.  Genetic diseases are seemingly becoming contagious and it is leading to a lot of fear and mystery. It had a very scientific feel to it with talks of genetically enhanced super soliders being used.
You get a very real look at how the various diseases are affecting and even killing when they shouldn't. Quite a few POVs from doctors
Story has some great twists to it that leave you staring open mouthed at the book
