Questo libro mi ha presa dalla prima pagina e l'ho messo giù solo dopo averlo finito. Forse proprio perché l'ho letto così in fretta, non avevo minimamente previsto il principale colpo di scena. Non capisco perché sia così sottovalutato

DNF’d 40% in. The actual concept on these beings was mildly interesting, but in practice it was mostly Harlan pulling the pigtails of the girl he likes, and not much better social dynamics than that, to be honest. I’m sure that it would have gone somewhere but it was honestly insufferable to continue dealing with the dynamics. I’m guessing it would be a metaphor for two schools of philosophical thought regarding the ways in which humans exert control, but it is so annoying that it rapidly devolved into Harlan being a man child right after the setting is somewhat established! I just don’t care!

Andrew Harlan, an Eternal, falls in love with Noys Lambert, who lives in real time, but when he tries to make her an Eternal, he is faced with a crucial decision about the destruction of Eternity.

Wow. Que livro! No começo, eu não tava entendendo coisa alguma, mas o livro foi passando e me envolvendo e foi MÁGICO! Eu amei a escrita do Asimov. Com certeza lerei mais coisas dele.
