The Fangover, while set in New Orleans and not Las Vegas, is a story about vampires waking up with one hell of a hangover and not remembering a damn thing about the night before. So much crazyness happens that they need to try to piece it together by retracing their steps. This book was completely entertaining. I had such a fun time reading it. I felt like I was part of this zany band of friends and was walking along the streets of New Orleans with them. The authors did a fantastic job describing the setting as well. Having been to New Orleans several times, I could really picture everything with such clarity, but I imagine that even if you’ve never been you won’t have a hard time seeing yourself there either. I really enjoyed all of the characters. Each of them had such unique personalities. Even the parrot! I really laughed quite a bit while reading. We get to see some smexy action from two of the band members, Wyatt and Cort, and they both definitely brought it. Though if I had to choose, I’d say I probably favored Cort over Wyatt. He just seemed oh so sexy. It must have been those eyes. :) If you’re looking for a fun, stand-alone book, with some vampires, humor, and a great setting, The Fangover is the book for you.
