Took me a while to get into but I did really enjoy it. Very light hearted for some of the material involved, and an easy to follow story.

It took me a minute to get into this book, and some parts were really repetitive (every chapter hearing about the characters' exact same frustrations). About a third of the way into it, it took off and kept me turning pages to the end. I loved the message and the characters' spiritual journeys and loved the romance and the layers underneath each character. It was a good lesson to not take people at face value. 
Our culture has really embraced the message to cut hurting people out of our lives because we don't need that kind of bad vibes, etc. But honestly, stories like this remind us that we do need each other to talk through the hard things, heal, and grow, we need each other's perspective, we are all part of each other's story, and that there is always more to someone's story.
