despite all odds, I finished this trilogy and while 90% of it is two characters each very literally saying what they're doing and generally popping bubble wrap for the brain quality wise - there was a small portion towards the end where I thought AG really was onto something interesting that could have been a captivating concept and been a novel in of itself. but alas, it was short and fleeting, and we're thrown back into the doldrum of these characters basically doing FOX's short-lived Tera Nova

           Gutted. Really enjoyed the first 2, this one I leave it entirely confused, going to take some Google searches and forum chats to work out what happened because I haven't a clue anymore.
