           the book was not bad, but at the same time it was not what i was expecting. 
the writing, for me, was too 'fanfictiony'- the character building was a bit flat for me, they changed their behavior so many times and so fast, from enemies to best friends, from being mad about a boy double playing them to being okay with one of them making a move on him.. it was inconsistent for me. 
but the idea of the book was good, although it reminds me too much of the 'pretty little liars' and 'pretty tiny things' idea. 
the podcast part in the book was really a good addition in my eyes and if they took it one step forward and recorded some real podcast to go along with the book it could have taken it to a whole different level. (maybe an idea they should consider ;) )
the phone thing got me really angry because they made such an emphasis on the students not being allowed phones through the week but literally every time they talked to a teacher or the principle they sold them self out by sending texts in front of them or saying "yeah i heard the podcast" although they couldn't have done that without a phone. 
i just feel like they could have done better with that by digging deeper into that phone thing and not neglect it. 
overall the book was good and really gave out British boarding school maybe even some Hogwarts vibes. 
i had a tough time going through this book and it took me a lot longer then i thought it would have taken me. but almost halfway through the book it got really better. so it saved the book for me.
