i personally found it enjoyable however it's very drawn out - it's a very long book but not a lot happens. to be fair i will add that i read this from a recommendation and it is a far cry from what i typically read.

Honestly didn't love the book. I didn't find a huge connection between the two main characters. The book also became very religious and a bit too cheesy for me. Overall it was an okay read.

I loved the romance. The rest was a little iffy for me. People’s lives are really complicated and it’s hard to portray that when you want to have a good, clean reputation as a writer, so I guess I would say I think the writing style was a little too vanilla for the severity of the plot. Still a good listen.

I love how she gets all the threads to make this wonderful tapestry of a story.
