My second Inspector Rebus book. Things I like about the series: complex, dry humored characters. Several layers of stories. Things I'm not so severely fond of: seems to be something left out of the translation. The characters will react to something alarming and I am left gaping and empty headed trying to figure out just what exactly it was that they discovered and who is doing what to whom and why so much excitement. Still - I'm planning on reading more. It also seems I'm going backwards. The first one I read is the last in the series - and this one is the next to last.
