Good collection of Feynman's articles and interviews. Really lovely to hear his stories from Los Alamos (repeat from his autobiography). I hadn't heard his views on computers before. I wonder how he would feel seeing 2023's computer tech and the explosion of programming languages. It was surprising to hear some of his views on female scientists. The notes on science and religion were excellent and similar to some of what I read in Dawkins' God Delusion. Overall a speedy read - finished this one in three days.

This is a collection of transcription of speeches Feynman gave, and therefore contains a lot of repetitive material. It's interesting to hear his perspective on science and pseudoscience. Also, he comes across as a bit on the spectrum, with muted emotional discussion of the sickness and death of his wife, and his experiences as "the only one" who saw the Trinity bomb test with his own eyes.

Overall, this volume appears to support a cult of personality of Feynman, rather than presenting useful information about his life or from his lectures.

I really loved listening to this audiobook - it’s something where I kept thinking - I must share this with my students - the way he talks about the scientific process, the inquiry process, the love of learning and the challenge of a problem. Should be required reading for all students and their teachers. (Even if he’s a bit of a sexist blokes bloke some of the time)
