It was hard to get invested in the story because it isn’t a single narrative but a patchwork of accounts from the pilots and crews who took part in he Nuremberg Raid. It didn’t help that some of the voice actors in the audiobook weren’t particularly good…
It is however an important work precisely because of those first hand accounts.
