It is no secret that I'm obsessed with Arthurian legend, and this book wrecked me. It was wonderful to see young Arthur turn into the King that he was, even though his love story with Morgan is truly heartbreaking and had me in tears most of the time. It's strength and raw emotion really drives the story forward. And the end, caused by years of lies and miscomunication, felt both terrible and unavoidable, while also feeling like it was how it was meant to be.
