Amazing! I was hooked and couldn't put it down, I regretted needing to sleep as it caused me to stop for a couple of hours.
 
WARNING if you are a sensitive person, like me, you may cry towards the end... Then again I tend to cry quite a lot in books and films so perhaps don't take that too seriously (I cried twice), but I also laughed and got to thinking the things I might have done if I was in a situation similar to what any of the characters in these book have been.

Absolutely adored it, every word and period the had was definitely worth the tears

This is my second Diane Chamberlain novel and it did not disappoint! It was definitely a page turner and even though there were some things I was able to guess, there were still plenty of surprises and twists. I wish there hadn’t been so many dead ends - I think the full truth that we learn in the end was so important to who Lisa was, and was only very quickly elaborated on. I wanted to know way more details. Also Sondra’s involvement and Verneice’s encounter with Deb could have been followed up on. I was also sad that Celia ended up being so curt and self-involved; when her purpose should’ve been to be a support system even while being having some concerns. Otherwise really excited to pick up another Chamberlain novel in the future!
