frustrated me at times because of the characters' choices, but that's exactly what made them feel so human and realistic. i felt emotionally drained in the best way tho

I thought the ending was great, I usually like Rebecca Yarros’s work but I think as a whole, I realized I like romance in the context of fantasy and don’t really like the genre as a standalone. <br /><br />The book is well written and the title is beautiful. The storyline is also beautiful. Sometimes the way the book is structured (Letter | Real Life) would break the immersion a bit but that’s the only criticism I had.

Certainly a plot twist at the end there! Storyline kept me entertained, but wish we had more meat on the bone with Georgia and Noah’s relationship

Holy crap I have never cried so hard to a book. At one point, I had to set it down and walk a lap. I have never read a book like this that switches between these perspectives and times, and I thought it was done beautifully and seamlessly. The story is amazing and broke my heart so many times. The ending had me sobbing and my jaw was on the floor.  Definitely recommend.

Absolutely adored this book. Had me falling in love not once but twice (if you read the book, you’ll know what I mean by that). I ugly cried for the ending. I NEVER expected it. 10000/10, recommend !!

Slow to start but the last 100 pages were really good. This boom taught me that I like historical fiction so I’ll definitely look into that more.

it was a sweet story, I enjoyed it overall. It just didn’t pull me in and took forever for me to finish. The twist in the end did surprise me a bit tho

oh my god, I was shocked, petrified, and heartbroken within those last 80 pages. God, their love story—both, was exasperating I cried several times (merely due to constant spoilers on tiktok), but omg my heart was played with I swear.

Georgia met Noah, the arrogant good looking author who's in charge to finish her great-grandmother’s final novel, and while they are on their journey to finish the novel, Georgia and Noah revealed a secret that Georgia's great-grandmother had kept all these years.

Listen, I'm a his-fic freak, and this book; I'd sell my soul to experience reading this all over again.

I love how the event setting sets in both the present and past (World War 2, Air Battle for England), and how the two settings connect to each other throughout the novel. The plot reminds me of The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, but it's a completely different style of writing and POVs.

Love letter? Sign me up because boy, I'm a sucker for love letters in novels.

Also, I cried so so bad, like 4 times I guess and it was HARD for me.

I'd recommend this book to everyone who simply enjoys a hopeless romantic trope.
