I'm tired of Eels being the big bad. There's also a missed opportunity with Eel's reappearance. To prove his worth he goes to the bookshop to ask for a book from the mechanical monkey. The book that's apparently assigned to him is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (1843). I really wanted Eels — this iteration of him — to be a humbug. It would have made things more interesting. Imagine having a new villain pretending to be an old one!
