God, this book ripped my heart out of my chest so suddenly, I didn't even know it happened until a full minute later when I found myself sobbing and in shock. Which some people might say, "But Gisela, you know what is going to happen. It even says it on the front of the book!" Which to that I say, like Beatrice in the book, we know certain things in life are inevitable, but that doesn't mean we don't feel any less horrible when those things happen. 

Tiffanie DeBartolo's words and sentences were beautiful. She created such a relatable relationship between Beatrice and Jacob, I felt like I was watching a pair of my friends fall in love. DeBartolo's writing is phenomenal to me, and I can't wait to read another one of her books. Although I think I need a break because my poor little heart is trying to mend itself right now, and I don't think that will happen anytime soon...

the book had me hooked, the chemistry between the characters was amazing. but the ending just seemed a tad bit rushed

To truly appreciate this book, I think you need to be living it. This story touched me so profoundly that I am in awe. 

I won't read it again. I can't read it again. However it is forever ingrained in my mind as a classic love story.
