British Flight Testing Martlesham Heath, 1920-1939

This work traces the development of landplane aircraft testing intended for use by the RAF and the Fleet Air Arm, and tests required for civil aircraft to be awarded Certificates of Airworthiness. It records the testing of 100s of aircraft, as well as equipment and armaments.
