I don't know why I read this book in August but I did! Doing this didn't feel wrong somehow, as it was still wonderfully magical! Yet, remarkably human too...

I really wound up enjoying this read. It was another christmas tale that both developed how santa came to be but also told a story focused on a adorable little boy and his adventure with a magical little christmasaurus. I really found this book to be so charming! It just put a smile on my face. I really loved how this book had some solid disability rep but also focused on bullying and other issues that pop up for young kids, this book was all magic and i def need to read the sequel!

I really liked this book, it's a fun christmas middle grade. I did have some mixed feelings in the begining because of all the bullying, so I just really wasn't a fan of all of that. But everything else was very fun and adventurous.

This was a lot of fun and will be great for young readers around Christmas. This is a very story telling style prose, and I think it worked great for this type of book. I highly recommend.
