I know a lot of people measure how good a story is by how much of it sticks with them. I find that generally short stories I remember better than novels, which I often lose plot points of. But months after reading this one I still remember the plot of "Child's Play" because of its O'Connor-esque twist. Looking at the list, I can still recall details of "Dimensions" and "Fiction". I remember enjoying "Some Women", not really getting "Wenlock Edge", "Free Radicals", or "Face", and not particularly caring for "Wood" and "Too Much Happiness". But the good definitely outshines the mediocre here.

This is a very ironic title, you'll find very little happiness in these pages. I don't usually go for short stories, but this collection was undoubtedly worth my time. Loved it so much, I already have another Alice Munro coming my way. :)
