At first I couldn't get into the book. I found myself reading it and then having to put it down. However, about halfway through I hit a point where it got good. Really good. I read the rest in under a day! I couldn't stop and started the second one right after. Once you get into it, it's hard to stop. 
I was cautious going into this book. Even though it's highly rated in Supernatural books (especially here on good reads), I didn't know if it would live up to the hype. But it did... 
The story centers heavily on romance, and there is a startling and clear connection from page one. It developed fast, but not in a cringe way. There are also greater forces happening, and therefore it's not just a mushy romance (even though I would still read it if it was!). You see pretty good character development, and its a story that grips you through every page. However, my one fault with this book is how clingy Gemma is! She needs to understand that there is more in life than just the love interest (whom shall remain unnamed!) 
In conclusion, awesome book!

So I picked this book to read with my book club and I wish I didn't. I believe all of us DNF it and couldnt force ourselves to continue reading it.

I remember in 2016 when I first read 'Touched', I absolutely loved it and was one of my favourite books that year. Now trying to reread it after 4 years, is a struggle.

I didnt like the writing anymore. I felt that it was boring and just okay. Also there were a lot of useless information and descriptions thrown at us that werent necessary at all. My biggest problem was instalove that happened between the main characters in first few chapters which is a big no from me.

Plot? Too slow for my liking. The characters themselves seemed blah and very two dimensional. I found it very hard to connect to any of them unfortunately. 

Comparing my 2 reviews is honestly surprising me since they are total opposite. But oh well, at least I know that my preference has changed.

I think this was either a hate or love type of book and I, for one, loved it. Both the main characters, Gemma and Evan, completely and utterly drew me in. I found myself absorbing every word and hungering for more.

Evan. Oh gosh, don't let me get started. He's the dangerously intoxicating bad boy come true for everyone. Really. I found myself swooning over him even though he's completely fictional! Though he did have some creepy stalker-like attributes in the way he always seemed to randomly appear wherever Gemma was but it was okay because he was just so hot and wonderful. I mean, I wouldn't mind a stalker like him. Hehe. 

And big thumbs up for me, it's not all about romance. There's a story behind it. There's more than Evan and Gemma making eyes at each other, though that is great. They don't jump into a relationship. They don't swoon for one another...well, Gemma does a couple times, lol. It's equally balanced with romance and mystery and action and fantasy. Oh, of course it's not real but it's not outrageously fantasy like. Ya know?

Overall, Touched was an amazing book and I hope I get the change to read book 2 just so I can read more about Evan. I highly recommend this book to everyone who loved Hush Hush or any books about angels!!♥
