I preferred reading the actual book to reading the Graphic Novel, but I felt it was pretty well done considering. I had always pictured mildly different colors and I had always pictured the main five dragons to be much smaller than truly mature adult dragons. It didn't seem that way in the comic version. Still, it wasn't a bad variation. The plot stayed true to the original in-so-far as I could recall and I thought the different dragon types had interesting styles.
