Well this is a twisty turn of events ... I have more questions, like how does this all end? On to Book 3! 

Michael and Meredith are definitely broken but there this glimmer of hope that keeps me, as a reader interested. 

Queen of Lies, you learn more about Meredith and her secret life that reminds me of the movie, “Hustlers”. Along with more of Michael’s sad story. 

There could definitely be some Triggers so read with caution, which the author notes at the beginning of book 2. 

This is definitely the dark part of this romance.
