O plot desse livro é extremamente clichê, o que eu não acho que seja um problema (pra ser sincera, amo ler de vez em quando), só que além disso ele é extremamente raso. A autora poderia ter adicionado mais umas 150 páginas pra fazer com que eu conhecesse pelo menos um pouco os personagens principais, porque sinceramente tudo que sei deles é o nome. Achei a amizade muito fofa e queria que tivesse sido melhor explorada, mas ao invés disso, literalmente de uma página pra outra, eles estavam morrendo de amores um pelo outro. 
Mas, a minha intenção ao pegar esse livro foi me distrair com alguma coisa fácil e rápida, e ele cumpriu o propósito, apesar de eu não ter me conectado com os personagens o suficiente para torcer por eles.

I don't know lately I've been in the mood to read a lot of friendship to love type books which this ended up being the perfect read for! Super quick, I flew through it. Carter and Arizona's friendship is the most important thing in their lives, ever since they were kids they have been inseparable. At the beginning, there is no attraction whatsoever between them. They basically have always seen each other like siblings and have never had an interest in pursuing a romantic relationship; much to the confusion of everyone else around them. Of course, one day that changes and they start to see each other in a different way and oh boy do the sparks fly when that happens! I love the way Carter and Arizona friendship was written in the book with the shift from childhood flashbacks to the current day. All the notes, letters and text they send each other were great to read, I love how they kept that going even into college. This was just a very sexy and fun book! Also, the two MCs had some amazing banter going on (ahh such a sucker for witty dialog). Not a lot of angst but just enough to stir up a little drama to this overall fun and satisfying read!

a fun ride as friends-to-lovers books go, although that lack of communication at the end still killed me (thus 3 instead of 3.5). I hate miscommunication plot lines.
