Exceptional book. I have been vegan for one year now and I have never been more certain that it was the best decision I could have ever made. This was the first time I actually bought and read a book about veganism and I couldn't be happier. The documentaries are pretty good as well and it was there that I started but love reading and I think in this way I can more easily get into the whole thought process plus you end up interiorizing much easily the data that is presented. This is part of a collection by Penguin Books called Great Ideas which I think is pretty well done, I also bought "God is dead, God remains dead and we have killed him" which was excellent as well. 

I really loved the voice of Pinter Singer and I would also be pretty interested in reading "Animal Liberation" by him. Now more than ever I have the motivation to spread this philosophy to others. Although I still find great resistance from people that surround me and it is pretty hard to be heard and comprehended in a world where being vegan is considered a trend or a phase, I still truly believe in this cause. I just wish I could at the beginning of my journey been more confident in my decision. I ended up letting people mock my choice and force me to give up being vegan. I'm just happy that I could clearly see my morals and follow my intuition. Seeing the world we are currently living in leaves me so sad sometimes and with this feeling of hopelessness, but I know this is the right thing to do and I will keep fighting for what I believe. I would also love to read Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer and I would highly recommend for everyone that is interested in veganism and knowing more about speciesism to watch the documentary "Earthlings" which, in my opinion, is still by far the best documentary out there.
