Initially rated it 3, but let’s be honest… I’ll read and love anything from Drew so bumped it up. Wildflower definitely could have used a few tweaks like maybe being chronologically ordered, but overall it’s a very sweet read. I appreciated that she touched on the harder parts of her life while taking lessons from every experience. You can tell she loves her friends so dearly which is quite endearing. Drew deserves to be America’s sweetheart!

When I first came across this book I wasn't sure I would ever get to read it. Honestly if it hadn't been apart of the sale on audible I don't know if I ever would have gotten to it. Unlike the other female memoirs I've read I've never really looked up to Drew Barrymore. I liked a lot of her movies but I guess I just looked at her as an actress and less of a person.

I definitely can't say I feel the same about her anymore. Her life is inspirational. This book made me see her as a friend and person over some famous chick. Listening to her talk about her daughters was the first thing that got me emotional, I'm currently expecting my first child and cannot wait to have that first real meeting in the hospital that she wrote about so perfectly. Then she really got me, she talked about her grandfather and finding out he passed away. Having also just recently gone though that part of life I could feel what she was saying. I completely understood.

Now there was something that weren't exactly my favorite thing. Most of which were from the audio and less from the book. The constant random yelling. I know it could arguably be necessary but while relaxing in the car after work the last thing I want to hear is someone yelling a word or two. 

My main conclusion from this book is that Drew Barrymore is amazing, and a truly wonderful person. Her journey and growth from being a troubled kid to this wonderful almost modest mother is just incredible.

This book was full of great stories. The 5 stars are for all of her motherhood/marriage/family chapters. Post Pardon Me was my favorite as a fairly new mom. Drew's heart is open and opened mine as well.

Don't know when it happened exactly that I started to love Drew Barrymorre so much but I do and with this book my idea that she's awesome just got reinforced. This is not a memoir in the original sense starting with childhood and progressing through her life, but just Drew sharing a bunch of stories from different moments of her life where she got to learn some valuable lesson or grow emotionally. I loved how spontaneus and bold her voice is and I really liked to learn more things about her that I had no idea before. Now I wanna go watch all her movies and her new tv series! 

Really recommend it if you're a Drew Barrymore fan.

Loved this book! It has such a great mix of stories, everything from heartwarming to hilarious. I'd highly recommend listening to the audio book because Drew's narration totally makes the book even better.

I already thought Drew Berrymore was a adorable and admirable woman and this book only made my respect and love for her grow like the beautiful and crazy wildflower she is! It was wonderful hearing more about her life in her own words and voice (since I listened to the audiobook). She is a klutz, a workaholic, a rebel and often times a complete mess, but she is also fierce, a nurturing mother and amazing feminist. Thank you Drew for all you do and being such an amazing role model to girls and women everywhere!
