Maracá The Biodiversity and Environment of an Amazonian Rainforest

This book reports and documents the findings of a major scientific survey of the Brazilian rainforest sponsored by the Royal Geographical Society. The results contain detailed botanical, zoological, entomological, geological, geomorphological and pedagogical materials describing about 2,000 species (including 1,300 vascular plants).
