It's so great to relive my youth again with these comics! I'm definitely going to pick up the other volumes asap, and then pick up part 2 as well! Fingers crossed that they're going to release all the W.I.T.C.H. comics that exist, because there are a lot and I've literally only read this first story!

This novel makes me feel nostalgic since I used to watch the show as a kid. I really liked Hay Lin's grandmother and it saddened me when she died.

I slightly remember watching this show when I was younger and I stumbled upon these editions recently while looking for more "witchy" books to read. Naturally, I had to check them out!

This first one was super fun, I really enjoyed it. I actually went and ordered the next three after I finished it. 

I don't know much about the genre of mid-grade graphic novels, I'm pretty sure this is the first one that I've read. But as far as mid-grade goes, I liked the story. Also the artwork was really pretty.

I share a lot of my mid-grade books with my nieces (aged 6-13) and I think the older girls would really love this as well.

The final confrontation is at hand, and the girls must find a way to take down the evil Prince Phobos and reclaim the crown of Meridian! Who will emerge victorious in the showdown between light and darkness??

I really loved the conclusion to this part of the series. It was super hard to put down this collection. I loved how the dynamics between the girls changed and also how the relationship between the girls and Elyon changed in this collection. The art work in this collection is simply stunning. I really loved the focus on female friendships and also the dymnacis of their power it was such a fun read and really hard to put down the collection. I will def.be cont. with this series eventually.

The new Guardians continue their mission to close the twelve portals to Metamoor that threaten their world. When the prediction that they will be betrayed by someone close to them comes to pass, though, can the W.I.T.C.H. girls pull together, or will they come apart at the seams...?

I really enjoyed this volume a lot. I really adore the character of Wil. But I loved all the characters to be honest. They are all so different and i love the various powers they all have. I also love the strong focus on friendship and finishing evil. I l think the drawing is the standout in this series. I love all the different locations we see. I also like how the romance in these pieces are not the primary focus yet. It love thee various sides of witches we see the good and the evil and how friendship grounds everything. I also like how the parents have a pretty decent role in the series. I am excited to get to vol 3 :)

This book was very lovely. I have never even herd of this series before. But this first volume captured my heart. I would say this series reminded me a lot of both sailor moon but also buffy. I read this volume so fast and loved the both the story and the characters. I love the use of surprise in this issues of the book. I will def. be checking out Vol. 2 shortly. I def. think my favorite power is both fire and also will power and I really loved all girls but I think will is my favorite. I thought the drawing was so lovely and was really impressed by it.
