If I Were A Man: 4.5 stars - The pockets are so relatable!! A bit disappointing that this has not changed.
Girls & Land: 5 stars - This is one of several stories in this collection about women making their own way and money in the world against everyone's expectations and I'm here for it.

This is overall maybe my favourite short story collection that I've read so far this year. Every story was so impossibly good, it was difficult to give them a rating at all. I think the lowest rating I gave was 2.5 stars, and I was just being picky. I've never read a short story collection that I've loved so whole-heartedly. For an author I had never even heard of before, I am astounded. I will definitely read this again someday. The average of these stories is 4 stars, but I'd go as far to give it 4.5. I'm just so pleased.
