The events in this volume were my most favorite parts in Heavens Arena arc. The battles of Killua and Gon versus Gido and friends were so entertaining! Who would have thought that after only two months of training, Hatsu technique not even included yet, both of them managed to defeat their respective opponents. So fun to watch Gon fight with his fishing rod and his own way of throwing the massive floor tiles to his opponents in two different variations. Though it was not a very long fight, Gon showed us how a good strategy can win a fight. 

Same with Killua's fight, though he only fought once since his other two oppenents withdrew. I always love seeing Killua fight with confidence (because I know that would always not be the case in the future). It was also funny how he knew his opponents were beneath him in terms of strength with just a simple look. His bored reaction visible on his face was so amusing!

And the most awaited fight since the Hunter Exam arc, Gon versus Hisoka. For starter, I didn't expect a victory from Gon. Not that I'm not confident with his skills because he truly improved after months of training. His fights with Gido and friends were also a proof of his improvement. But it was Hisoka were talking about here. He was waaaaay too powerful for him to handle. Though it was a sure win for Hisoka, I didn't expect less entertainment from their fight. I knew it would be so thrilling ang entertaining and it really was. 

What I was waiting the most was Gon's punch. His actual goal was to give the tag back by punching Hisoka in the face. It was close to impossible knowing how strong Hisoka is, but that was what he was training for. When he landed a punch, that was so fulfilling. It was satisfying because it was really an unexpected punch and Hisoka was actually caught off guard by it. Though Gon really tried his best to win, he knew deep down it was impossible. He technically lose but it was still a win for him to give Hisoka's tag back in middle of the fight. And one more thing, Gon actually learned a lot while fighting Hisoka. 

Killua and Gon had already practiced their Nen in an actual fight. But what they learned were still basics of Nen and haven't even practice their own Hatsu category, Gon from Enhancement group and Killua from Transmutation. They still have a looooot more to learn.
