"Wake up. Move through space." This is one of the final lines in Eleanor Davis' bike tour comic and it's a nice summary of her bike trip from Tucson to Georgia. Knee pain, depression, anxiety and the daily struggles of wanting to give up told through her interactions with others, her loneliness and her simple pencil drawings on the road. 3.5 stars.

This was a fun book to read. It was quick, but Davis draws just how I imagine I would draw if I didn't stick to stick figures. Her lines are rough, jittery, but always expressive, and it was so cool to see a journal in graphic form. As a long-distance athlete myself, I enjoyed this meditation on doing something physical like this.
