The following is a collection of adventures by Kyle MacDonald, a Canadian engineer born of immigrant parents who initially envisaged a peaceful life in a quiet town just outside of Ottawa. However, events take a nasty turn when his family life is shattered, and he elects to start a new life in Costa Rica. Settling into what seemed to be idyllic surroundings as the owner of a small hotel on a secluded beach, his life is once more interrupted when he unwittingly gets involved with a powerful Mafia family. You can follow Kyle’s first adventure in The Santini Vendetta, a novella that represents the first book in the series. You can enjoy books two to four without reading the first in series, but the first book provides some background on Kyle MacDonald, as well as some of the characters in Book 2, Lost Loot of Lima.
