This publication brings together works by over eighty contemporary women artists from over fifty countries, among them Catherine Opie, Miwa Yanagi, Pilar Albarracín, Shahzia Sikander and Yin Xiuzhen. Contributions by a multinational team of authors focus particular attention on socio-cultural, racial and gender identities.
