Manindra Agrawal's talk on “PRIMES is in P” provided a mu- improved version of his celebrated and ground-breaking 2002 work on poly- mial time algorithm for testing prime numbers. The theoretical computation work presented in this keynote lecture should be motivating for the evolutionary optimization and machine learning community at large.

Simulated Evolution and Learning

While the poems collated in this book were being published in Parabaas magazine, the readers' feedback overwhelmingly appreciated the 'sheer music or the soft shades of feeling' that pervade through them, often in the magical backdrop of some remote corners of the globe that the poet has visited over and over again. Adding to the delight of Nirupam Chakraborti's readers at large, this long overdue collection, bearing his characteristic signature of both joy and tribulation, is finally out. Any serious Bangla reader should enjoy this book and realize that poetry too begins in wonders!

বিজ্ঞপ্তি নিজস্ব বাতাস বয়ে যায়! (সৃষ্টিসুখ, ২০১৪) গ্রন্থটির পরবর্তীকালে রচিত আমার কবিতা সমুদয় এই কাব্যগ্রন্থে সংকলিত হইল। ঊর্ণনাভ কবিতাটি ইতিমধ্যে ইংরাজি ও ফিনিশ অনুবাদে, হেলসিঙ্কি হইতে ২০১৫ খৃষ্টাব্দে প্রকাশিত আমার কবিতার অনূদিত সংগ্রহ Enchantress/ Lumoojatar গ্রন্থে সংযুক্ত হইয়াছে। প্রতিটি কবিতাই পরবাস পত্রিকায় পূর্ব প্রকাশিত। সম্পাদক মহাশয়কে কৃতজ্ঞতা। দুই তরুণ তুর্কী, শ্রীমান অতনু দেব ও শ্রীমান রোহণ কুদ্দুস যথাক্রমে অলংকরণ ও প্রকাশনার গুরুদায়িত্ব স্বেচ্ছায় তাঁহাদের স্কন্ধোপরি লইয়াছেন। আমি আপ্লুত। আর এই সংকলনের প্রতিটি রচনাই নির্মাণের পর মুহূর্তেই আমি যাঁহাদিগের নিকট ই-ডাক মারফত অকাতরে প্রেরণ করিয়াছি, তাঁহারা শুধু সুরসিক কবিতা পাঠক নহেন, তাঁহারা প্রত্যেকেই আমার প্রিয় মানুষ। এই গ্রন্থটি পুষ্পিত হইল তাঁহাদের ভালোবাসায়: ভো পাঠক, ইহার সুঘ্রাণ আজ তোমার নিকটেও উপস্থিত, পরমানন্দে আজ তুমিও ইহাকে গ্রহণ করিও! অলমিতি বিস্তরেন। নিরুপম চক্রবর্তী
