There were a few aspects of this that I enjoyed, mostly the writing and the setting. The writing was descriptive and had beautiful imagery. There were times when it felt a little too forced, almost like it was trying to be more poetic than it was, but I enjoyed it for the most part. What kept my interest was the setting. I love when stories are set in remote, creepy locations, and this Alpine hotel more than fits the bill. While I wasn't invested in the mystery itself and found the plot took too long to kick off, I still thought this was a decent read.
